Our Unique Methodology

Students look forward to our sessions

We understand students and build trust with them on a deep level through our unique engagement style. We then adapt our pedagogical approach to different student archetypes. Creative artists, aspiring athletes, intellectual introverts, and everyone in between will find a home here.

We have analyzed the SAT and ACT thoroughly and broken them down into specific question archetypes, creating different strategies for each one. Next, we add in our secret sauce: tailoring those strategies for each student based on their personality types and testing styles. This gives each student the opportunity to have real shot at every question. Finally, we add gamification and humor to our teaching approach, because what's learning without a little fun?

We subscribe to a win-win-win approach. Our staff have educational, start up, and corporate work experiences that we bring to bear for your child in a way that most other educators can't: we teach skills that not only foster success on the test and in the classroom, but also in their personal lives and future careers. Win-win-win.

Can we teach mindfulness and sensory grounding exercises help to reduce anxiety, both in testing and real life situations? Will a student's concept absorption rate benefit from identity reframing? When you learn things that help you improve in multiple parts of your life, the benefits become exponential.

A curriculum that evolves

We evolve the curriculum to match students' rates of learning. Student athletes might prefer advanced math questions framed in terms of baseball swings. STEM students might prefer tricky grammar taught in equation-like terms. Dyslexic students might prefer a consistent strategy retrieval system. We take great care to adjust the curriculum based on where students are stalling.

The most exciting part of our curriculum is our limit breaker phase. Great educators reveal the unseen potential in students. We take it one step further - teaching (sometimes pushing!) students to actualize that potential. It's scary at first, but the outcomes and newfound self-confidence are some of the best rewards.
